The planting is done, now it’s time to harvest what we’ve grown! In this camp, we will learn how to identify when fruits and vegetables are ready to pick and to practice safe, gentle harvesting techniques. We will also learn how to process what we harvest so it is preserved for future use. This camp will teach basic woodworking skills through a small project. The kids will learn about shop safety, machining, joining, sanding and finishing. Through our project, we will also learn how God shapes us for his purposes, from our raw, sinful state into something beautiful and/or useful, how we are all shaped for different purposes, how God provides the tools that we need to grow in our faith and what Discipleship – learning from those with experience and wisdom – looks like!
This camp is an introduction to bowling. We will learn the basic bowling skills, scoring and etiquette while making a lot of friends and learning about Jesus Christ. Our Christ-centered watercolor summer camp is a joyful, creative experience designed especially for children in 3rd–5th grade. Throughout the week, campers will explore the beauty of watercolor painting while growing deeper in their faith. Campers will learn various watercolor techniques while creating artwork inspired by Scripture, God’s creation, and Christian themes like kindness, gratitude, and faith. No prior art experience is needed—just a willingness to learn and a love for creativity!
Get ready to “dig” into God’s wonderful plan for gardening. Growing your own food is not only healthy and good for your body, but it’s a lot of fun too! In gardening camp, campers will learn the different types of gardening, the importance of companion planting, proper care of a garden throughout the season. Campers will discover the magic of soil, sunlight and water as they learn to plan a garden space and plant and nurture the seeds. In this camp, brimming with posies, we will be making a nature journal to record our observations. We will delight in God’s handiwork in the garden. We will have a day of flower arranging along with other floral projects with watercolors and other embellishments. You won’t want to miss it!
Kids are cleared for takeoff at our aviation-themed Summer Camp, “Lifted on Eagle’s Wings!” This adventure blends faith, science, and fun with hands-on ground school, airplane builds, games, Twin Cessna Aircraft familiarization, and a special airport visit . Through exciting activities and Bible lessons about trusting God’s guidance and soaring on His strength, children will learn what it means to follow Him with courage and confidence. Dubbed a kinder gentler version of dodge ball, the game is played with a soft foam ball, and combines the skills of dodging, striking, running, and jumping, while trying to hit opponents with a ball below the knees. Players need to keep moving to avoid getting hit by the ball. We’ll have a fun week together learning the rules and playing lots of Gaga Ball! You won’t want to miss it!
Everything is awesome at Lego camp! We’ll spend the week designing and building every kind of structure you can imagine. We’ll also have Lego related craft projects, daily design challenges, creative competitions, and “free build” time. The possibilities are endless. Come ready to experience Lego’s in a whole new way, while we learn the importance about building our lives on the strong foundation of God’s word!
Checkmate! Whether you are a chess pro, just learning how to play, or don’t know the difference between a bishop and a knight – you are welcome at Chess Camp! Not only will we learn what each piece does, but we will explore game play strategies, identify common chess terms/plays, and enjoy some friendly competition with fellow chess players. As we learn how to make important decisions in our game play, we will also learn from the Bible how to make important decisions in life. We hope to see you there!
