Woodworking Camp – FULL

This camp will teach basic woodworking skills through a small project. The kids will learn about shop safety, machining, joining, sanding and finishing.  Through our project, we will also learn how God shapes us for his purposes, from our raw, sinful state into something beautiful and/or useful, how we are all shaped for different purposes, how God provides the tools that we need to grow in our faith and what Discipleship – learning from those with experience and wisdom – looks like.

Acting Adventures

Through this camp, kids will learn how to audition, prepare monologues, and perform a short drama at the end of the week. Come explore what it feels like to be a pilot!  We’ll spend the morning learning about planes and aviation and finish the day with a discovery flight in a real airplane!  Each camp is a one day camp and will be held at the EAA Chapter 1158 building at the West Bend Municipal Airport, 310 Aerial Drive, West Ben, WI. 53095. Quilting

 This camp is for the more experienced sewer who would like to learn new quilting skills.  We will learn some basic machine quilting techniques through the construction of a small quilt or bag and other small projects as time allows.  Prior to the start of camp, we will send you the fabric requirements for your projects.  You will purchase your own fabrics and bring them to camp with you on the first day.  Any additional notions, such as stabilizer, will be provided.  Your own sewing machine is helpful, but not required.
