Saddle Up! We will have a fun week together providing the opportunity for developing equestrians to become more confident in their abilities and comfortable within a community of riders as they learn the fundamentals of riding and horse care. This camp will meet at the Prairie Hill Stables located on the corner of Highland and Wauwatosa Roads.

Join us this week as we learn practical gardening skills while exploring how plants grow and where our food comes from. Learn about insects, vegetables, flowers, soil and worms while playing games, making art, reading stories and singing songs! Please have your child wear sunscreen. Please send a bathing suit and a change of clothes with your child as we might play water games if time/weather conditions permit.
When we look in the mirror, many of us see ourselves as ordinary or worse, but God sees us as made in his image. The right image is how He made us as his unique design, set apart and special. We will come to know how we are uniquely made as we learn to draw our own faces (using a mirror) and other human faces from photographs. We will spend the week learning different drawing techniques from a retired police officer with 30+ years of experience as a sketch artist.
Have you ever wondered what an Engineer does? Engineers are curious people. They want to know how things work. So they try to figure things out. Engineers solve problems. They design and plan. They research and develop. They test and experiment. Come learn more about what engineers do through lots of fun activities and projects. It’s a camp you don’t want to miss!
Honeybees are a fascinating part of God’s creation. We will learn about the queen, the workers, the colony and all of the amazing things that honeybees do. We will also harvest some honey and learn a little about what beekeepers do to take care of the bees. Do you want to learn to sew? This is the camp for you! This camp is for kids who have little to no sewing experience. We’ll learn basic sewing techniques as we complete simple, yet fun sewing projects. Your own sewing machine is helpful, but not required.
Through science, we can have a better understanding of God’s creation. We will use our God given curiosity and wonder while experiencing hands on scientific exploration and discovery. And we will have lots of messy science fun! Please have your child wear sunscreen. Everything is awesome at Lego camp! Come enjoy a time of creativity and fun as we spend the week building with friends. We'll also have Lego related craft projects, daily design challenges, creative competitions, and "free build" time. The possibilities are endless. Come ready to experience Legos in a whole new way, while we learn the importance of building our lives on the strong foundation of God's word. Come join us for a week of movement on mats, balance beams, mini-trampolines, and more! We will learn about loving God through daily devotion stories, movement stations, and large-group games. Snacks will be provided, too! We will be working on basic tumbling moves like rolls, back bends, and cartwheels. We will play large-group games like parachute games and scooter races. Join us for an exciting week of exploring the history of our great country! Through fun, interactive games and activities, we will learn about key Founding Fathers, the saga surrounding the War for Independence, the need for the Constitutional Convention, and ultimately the fulfilment of these principles in the Civil War. Throughout the week we will examine how despite their imperfections, God used men and women to form the nation that has served as "the shining city on the hill" since 1776. This camp is an introduction to bowling. We will learn the basic bowling skills, scoring and etiquette while making a lot of friends and learning about Jesus Christ. This camp will meet at a Circle B Bowling Alley.
This camp is for the more experienced sewer who would like to learn new quilting skills. We will learn some basic machine quilting techniques through the construction of a small quilt or bag and other small projects as time allows. Prior to the start of camp, we will send you the fabric requirements for your projects. You will purchase your own fabrics and bring them to camp with you on the first day. Any additional notions, such as stabilizer, will be provided. Your own sewing machine is helpful, but not required.
We will spend the week training for our track meet, while we learn to be champions for Jesus. Events include: 50m, 100m, 200m, & 400m dash; 400m & 800m relays; long jump, softball throw & Frisbee toss. Everyone will compete in at least one dash event, one relay, and one field event at the Friday track meet. While we understand that conflicts arise, we ask that every participant in track and field camp plan to take part in the track meet on Friday evening. Rainforests are lush, warm and wet habitats that are home to many exotic trees and animals. Join us for a week of exploring the many plants and animals that live in the rain forest and the types of food they eat. It will be a fun week of games and activities that help us to explore and understand how God and why God created this unique part of the world. In this camp we will be learning basic ballet skills. We will also be exploring the bible to see where we find dance in the scriptures, and discover the importance of using our body to worship God. Like to sew? Want to learn more? This camp is for kids with previous sewing experience who have a basic understanding of sewing machine operation and sewing techniques. Our projects will be designed to teach new and more advanced sewing skills. Your own sewing machine is helpful, but not required.
At barista camp, you will get hands-on training from experienced baristas from The Student Union. Throughout the week, you will gain skills in pulling espresso, steaming milk, brewing drip coffee, and making specialty coffee drinks. You will learn basic latte art, the basic science behind coffee, and what makes quality coffee!
Do you enjoy writing? Do you have great ideas that could be turned into a story?! Come spend the morning with us practicing writing and learning how God uses different types of writing in the Bible and that He is the author of YOUR story! Get ready to stretch your limits of physical strength, self-control, and faith. You'll face challenges that include a climbing wall, rappelling tower, zip line, slack line, various games, and God's Word. Safety and encouragement are primary.
Come cast your nets and see what the Bible has to say about fish! We’ll learn about fish, fishing equipment, making lures, and so much more. Special Lake Michigan sunrise salmon fishing trips will be held Tues - Friday. This is when the fish are most active. 3 campers per trip plus one parent chaperone each day. Trips will be rescheduled if weather is not good on any specific day
Come explore what it feels like to be a pilot! We’ll spend the morning learning about planes and aviation and finish the day with a discovery flight in a real airplane! Each camp is a one day camp and will be held at the EAA Chapter 1158 building at the West Bend Municipal Airport, 310 Aerial Drive. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of camp.
