Everything is awesome at Lego camp! Come enjoy a time of creativity and fun as we spend the week building with friends. We’ll also have Lego related craft projects, daily design challenges, creative competitions, and “free build” time. The possibilities are endless. Come ready to experience Legos in a whole new way, while we learn the importance of building our lives on the strong foundation of God’s word.
Spend a week exploring the founding of America. We’ll discuss key Founding Fathers, the saga surrounding the War for Independence, the need for the Constitutional Convention, and ultimately the fulfillment of these principles in the Civil War. Throughout the week we will examine how despite their imperfections, God used men and women to form the nation that has served as “the shining city on the hill” since 1776.
Come cast your nets and see what the Bible has to say about fish! We’ll learn about fish, fishing equipment, making lures, and so much more. Special Lake Michigan sunrise salmon fishing trips will be held Tues – Friday. This is when the fish are most active. 3 campers per trip plus one parent chaperone each day. Trips will be rescheduled if weather is not good on any specific day
Board games, party games, playground games: Uno to Apples to Apples to Sharks and Minnows; Blokus to Freeze Dance and many more. We’ll play games, make games and eat games while learning about how to play God’s great game of life. Come out and play with some games with us!
Join us for an exciting week of musical fun! Get “on a roll’ with God in this year’s musical: Food Truck Party! Join Pastor D and kids from his youth group as they prep their Food Truck for a community festival. They hit some bumps along the way but learn that God will provide. We will learn and perform a musical in a week! Camp dates are July 24th – 28th, 9AM – Noon for everyone. 9AM – 4PM for speaking cast and those with special parts. We’ll end the week with a performance of our show on Friday night. …
Do you love to cook? Do you dream of being the next Master Chef Junior? Then this is the camp for you! Join us for a week of cooking fun as we learn to create culinary masterpieces in the kitchen! And then we’ll eat them, of course, so come hungry! Throughout the week we will be cooking or baking foods from the different food groups as well as learning about how Jesus is “food for our soul.
This camp is an excellent way for boys and girls to improve their game and have a blast at the same time. All aspects of basketball, including the fundamentals will be covered to make all that are involved a more complete basketball player. We’ll also learn about a Christian basketball player each day and how their faith has impacted them. Campers should come dressed in basketball footwear and comfortable clothing each day. Also, a snack will be provided but a personal water bottle is highly recommended. Don’t forget your sunscreen!
We will spend the week training for our track meet, while we learn to be champions for Jesus. Events include: 50m, 100m, 200m, & 400m dash; 400m & 800m relays; long jump, softball throw & Frisbee toss. Everyone will compete in at least one dash event, one relay, and one field event at the Friday track meet. While we understand that conflicts arise, we ask that every participant in track and field camp plan to take part in the track meet on Friday evening. This active camp will help kids learn basic soccer foot skills with fun activities and games. We will introduce dribbling, shooting, passing, shielding and good sportsmanship within a positive team building environment. All skill levels are welcome, and the fun, engaging activities will help all kids develop soccer skills and grow in their faith. Everyone will have fun, learn a memory verse and more about the love of Jesus. Balls are provided and both T-shirt and soccer ball are included. Please bring a labeled water bottle each day.
Do you want to learn to sew? This is the camp for you! This camp is for kids who have little to no sewing experience. We’ll learn basic sewing techniques as we complete simple, yet fun sewing projects. Your own sewing machine is helpful, but not required.
