Why should kids memorize scripture?   Most importantly, because scripture helps them build a personal relationship with God!  God’s word is food for the soul (Matthew 4:4). Memorizing scripture helps protect our hearts and minds from sin. (Psalm 119:11)  There are so many benefits to knowing and understanding God’s word!  In this camp, we will learn creative, engaging techniques like singing, hand motions, and visual aids (whiteboards, flashcards) to make the scripture memorization fun and impactful.

Like to sew?  Want to learn more?  This camp is for kids with previous sewing experience who have a basic understanding of sewing machine operation and sewing techniques.  Our projects will be designed to teach new and more advanced sewing skills.  Your own sewing machine is helpful, but not required.

This camp is an excellent way for boys and girls to improve their game and have a blast at the same time. All aspects of basketball, including the fundamentals will be covered to make all that are involved a more complete basketball player. Campers should come dressed in basketball footwear and comfortable clothing each day. Also, a snack will be provided but a personal water bottle is highly recommended. Don’t forget your sunscreen!

Are you a STEM enthusiast who wants to learn to code? Then, join us for Coding Camp! In this camp, we’ll explore the basics of how computers work, and start learning how to write in the language of computers: code! We’ll also learn how to glorify God in our work and be good stewards of the resources we’ve been given. No previous coding experience is necessary. Please note that a laptop is required to participate in this camp.

This camp is for dancers with 2+ years recent experience who would like to learn more.  Each day we will learn a different dance in a new style, including Lyrical, Jazz, Hip Hop and Musical Theater. We will finish the week with a performance for family and friends.  It’s going to be a fun week!

This camp will teach basic woodworking skills through a small project. The kids will learn about shop safety, machining, joining, sanding and finishing.  Through our project, we will also learn how God shapes us for his purposes, from our raw, sinful state into something beautiful and/or useful, how we are all shaped for different purposes, how God provides the tools that we need to grow in our faith and what Discipleship - learning from those with experience and wisdom – looks like!

We will spend the week training for our track meet, while we learn to be champions for Jesus.  Events include:  50m, 100m, 200m, & 400m dash; 400m & 800m relays; long jump, softball throw & Frisbee toss.  Everyone will compete in at least one dash event, one relay, and one field event at the Friday track meet.   While we understand that conflicts arise, we ask that every participant in track and field camp plan to take part in the track meet on Friday evening.  This allows us to plan for our relay teams, etc. so that everyone has a positive…

Come cast your nets and see what the Bible has to say about fish!  We’ll learn about fish, fishing equipment, making lures, and so much more. Special Lake Michigan sunrise salmon fishing trips will be held Tues - Friday.  This is when the fish are most active.   3 campers per trip plus one parent chaperone each day.  Trips will be rescheduled if weather is not good on any specific day.

Get ready to stretch your limits of physical strength, self-control, and faith.  You'll face challenges that include a climbing wall, rappelling tower, zip line, slack line, various games, and God's Word.  Safety and encouragement are primary. Each camp is a one day camp and will be held at the EAA Chapter 1158 building at the West Bend Municipal Airport, 310 Aerial Drive, West Ben, WI. 53095. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of camp.  A parent or guardian needs to be present and will need to sign the liability waiver.
